14th Ave W Extension: SKWC Community Presentation

Learn about the history of the proposed Snohomish County 14th Ave W Extension project, neighborhood impacts, environmental impacts, and what it would do to alleviate traffic pressures (spoiler: not much, if anything).

Read Sno-King Watershed Council Board Member Bill Lider’s presentation to the community about the 14th Ave W Extension to help you understand what Snohomish County wants to do and what is at stake if the extension is allowed to proceed.

Call to Action

The more people speaking up in opposition to this unnecessary, expensive, and destructive development, the better our chances of stopping it.

The next opportunity to have your voice be heard is Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 9 am. Join the Snohomish County Council meeting and raise your hand to give a 3 minute comment on why you oppose the 14th Ave W extension: https://zoom.us/j/94846850772

In addition to giving public comment at the meeting (or instead of if you cannot attend), email the Snohomish County Council ahead of their Wednesday, March 24, 2021 meeting at contact.council@snoco.org. Tell them you oppose Motion 21-090 to extend 14th Ave from 228th Street to Locust Way and let them know why it matters to you that this project not move forward.

Thank you for standing with us to protect the health and wellbeing of our watershed!
